Quality Control

At China Loong Trailers Co., Ltd., quality control is integrated into each stage of sourcing, production, assembly, inspection, packaging, and shipment. Our procedures are designed to support consistent workmanship across agricultural farm trailers, cargo and utility trailers, vehicle transport trailers, boat and motorcycle trailers, truck and semi-trailers, special-purpose models, trailer spare parts, cable ties, and wiring accessories. Inspection criteria are established according to product specifications, approved drawings, customer requirements, and industry-aligned practices.

1. Incoming Material Inspection

Incoming materials and purchased components are checked before they are released for production. The scope and method of inspection depend on the product, component function, and order requirements.

• Steel and structural materials: Material type, dimensions, surface condition, and relevant documentation are reviewed against purchasing and production requirements.
• Trailer components: Axles, suspension parts, couplings, landing gear, wheels, tires, braking components, fasteners, and lighting parts are checked for specification, condition, and compatibility.
• Electrical and wiring products: Cables, connectors, terminals, insulation, and related accessories are inspected for configuration, dimensions, workmanship, and intended application.
• Cable ties and accessories: Material, dimensions, locking structure, surface condition, and packaging requirements are verified according to the applicable specification.

Materials or components that do not meet the defined requirements are identified and controlled to prevent unintended use while the issue is reviewed.

2. In-Process Quality Control

Production is monitored at key stages to help maintain dimensional accuracy, structural integrity, and assembly consistency. Operators follow applicable drawings and work instructions, while designated personnel conduct checks according to internal inspection standards.

• Fabrication and forming: Cut dimensions, hole positions, profiles, and formed components are checked against approved technical information.
• Welding and frame assembly: Joint preparation, weld placement, frame alignment, critical dimensions, and visible weld condition are examined as appropriate for the trailer design.
• Surface preparation and finishing: Cleaning, preparation, coating coverage, color, and visible finish are monitored subject to the specified treatment process.
• Mechanical assembly: Axles, suspensions, couplings, brakes, wheels, ramps, doors, supports, and fastening points are checked for correct installation and operation.
• Electrical assembly: Wiring routes, connections, lighting functions, and protection from abrasion or interference are reviewed where applicable.

For OEM customization trailers and special-purpose equipment, additional inspection points may be established around customer-approved drawings, payload-related configuration, interfaces, dimensions, and optional features.

3. Finished Product Inspection

Completed products undergo a final inspection before approval for packing or dispatch. The inspection scope is adapted to the trailer type, accessories, destination requirements, and agreed specifications.

• Dimensions and configuration: Key measurements, model configuration, installed options, and component specifications are verified against order documents and drawings.
• Appearance and workmanship: Frames, panels, decks, coatings, weld areas, labels, and accessible surfaces are visually checked for acceptable finish and assembly condition.
• Functional checks: Couplings, jockey wheels, landing gear, doors, ramps, latches, winches, tipping mechanisms, brakes, suspension-related assemblies, and lighting systems are checked where fitted.
• Safety-related details: Fastening points, chains, guards, reflectors, wiring protection, wheel installation, and other specified safety features are reviewed for completeness and correct assembly.
• Parts and accessories: Loose components, spare parts, tools, manuals, and ordered accessories are counted and checked against the packing requirements.

Inspection records and order-related documents are maintained as appropriate to support traceability and shipment review. Any identified nonconformity is evaluated and addressed before the product is released.

4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check

Packaging is selected with consideration for product size, weight, surface protection, transportation method, and customer instructions. Exposed surfaces and vulnerable components may be protected, secured, separated, or reinforced as appropriate to reduce the risk of movement and transit damage.

• Product identity, quantity, model, and order details are reconfirmed before shipment.
• Removable components and accessories are secured and clearly organized for receiving and assembly.
• Packaging condition, protective materials, labels, and shipping marks are checked against agreed requirements.
• Loading arrangements are reviewed to support safe handling, space utilization, and product protection.
• Available shipment documents are checked for consistency with the approved order information.

5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement

China Loong Trailers Co., Ltd. treats customer feedback as an important part of quality management. When a quality concern is reported, our team reviews the product details, order information, supporting photographs or records, and relevant production and inspection data. The objective is to identify the cause, define an appropriate response, and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.

Corrective actions may include updates to inspection points, work instructions, supplier controls, production methods, component selection, packaging arrangements, or employee guidance. Lessons from manufacturing, shipment, installation, and field use are incorporated into ongoing process reviews, helping us provide international B2B customers with products that consistently reflect the agreed specifications and intended application.
